| About Troubadours of Albion |
It's me - Andrew the Troubadour, of the Troubadours of Albion - singer, composer, musical director, musical writer! Add just plain "writer" and "poet" for good measure if you like. But on here I am publicising our musical excesses.We are writing a Musical, currently, of which the title track - Petronella - has been uploaded. It's sort of Gothy in a way - which is quite unusual, as the rest of the tunes are bordering on folk to classical/opera, as you can see from the "Foreboding Premonition" tune. Of course, to really lead a merry dance, We have also written some folk tunes in the Irish idiom. Anyway, watch this myspace...
Also coming up - I am the Musical Director of the Troubadours of Albion, the UKs premier Pagan Choir. Being a Hereditary Witch - like wot we iz - it sort of goes with the territory that we would want to boss a load of warblers around. Anyway, we have written a couple of songs, and soon we shall have an album up and running, so if you like your music raw and natural, then all shall be revealed in due course!
But I don't just do music; I am a writer of note, as well as of notes, and when I'm not warbling, scribbling or darning the very fabric of the universe, I like to do mental gymnastics in the form of cryptic crosswords, and listen to comedy/news/music. Not all at the same time - who do you think I am, Olga Korbutt?
