PENTORR are a progressive cornish folk band from south east Cornwall, playing bass driven arrangements of traditional Cornish tunes, mandolin intertwining with celtic fiddle combining of the melodic complexity of Cornish music with psychadelia and progressive influences We are versed in the Cornish culture and have played for Troyl (cornish ceilidh) and Nos Lowens. The four piece line up has hit its stride with more diverse and interesting music than ever, and is well on its way to producing our next album... 'probably the best new quasi traditional band at the moment' Brendan McGreal (Cornishunderground). -
