Lady Gaga - Future Love
(I was there LIVE at the Mezzanine!!)
Movies
My definite choice here is Tombstone - you know, Wyatt Earp, Doc Holiday, and all that. It's pretty sad I can recite most all of the lines. But then again, some people I know have been worse.
Juno is awesome, and I fell in love with it the moment I hit "Play" on my computer. I bought the DVD the day it came out, a few weeks later.
"You're not your job. You're not how much money you have in the bank. You're not the car you drive. You're not the contents of your wallet. You're not your fucking khakis. You're the all-singing, all-dancing crap of the world." ~ Fight Club
Television
- Smallville
- House, M.D.
- The Office
- Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
- NFL games
Books
My first inclination was the Redwall series by Brian Jacques, when thinking about what my favorite book was. I'd read them as a kid, fun stories! Also, one summer I read every Hardy Boys book from the library.
But the more I thought about it I said "no.. I read the Odyssey twice in Jr. High" so that's what I'm going with! Surprisingly enough, I never read the Iliad, either!
"That's right. When I was your age, television was called books." ~ The Princess Bride
"The video arcade is down the street. Here we just sell small rectangular objects. They're called books. They require a little effort on your part, and make no bee-bee-bee-bee-beeps. On your way please." ~ The Never Ending Story
Heroes
There are only two kinds of people who are really fascinating--people who know absolutely everything, and people who know absolutely nothing. Oscar Wilde (1854-1900)
Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)
"It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything." ~ Fight Club

They'll laugh as they watch us fall
The lucky don't care at all
No chance for fate
It's unnatural selection
I want the truth
I am hungry for some unrest
I want to push this beyond a peaceful protest
I wanna speak in a language that they'll understand
Dedication to a new age
Is this the end of destruction and rampage?
Another chance to erase it then repeat it again
Counterbalance this commotion
We're not droplets in the ocean
Ocean
They'll laugh as they watch us fall
The lucky don't care at all
No chance for fate
It's unnatural selection
I want the truth
No religion or mind virus
Is there a hope that the facts will ever find us
Just make sure that you are looking out for number 1
I am hungry for some unrest
Let's push this beyond a peaceful protest
I wanna speak in a language that you will understand
Counterbalance this commotion
We're not droplets in the ocean
Ocean
They'll laugh as they watch us crawl
The lucky don't share at all
No hope for fate, it's a random chance selection
I want the truth
Try to ride out the storm
Whilst they'll make you believe, that they are the special ones, (we
have not been chosen)
Injustice is the norm
You won't be the first and you know you won't be the last
Counterbalance this commotion
We're not droplets in the ocean
Ocean, ocean, ocean
They'll laugh as they watch us fall
Unlucky, they don't care at all
No chance for fate
It's unnatural selection
I want the truth
I want the truth
I want the truth
I want the truth
