OUR SPEAKERS
Matt is currently the Jr. High pastor at Bayside Church. A graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, he originally started out a student in engineering before answering God’s call to ministry. He graduated with a degree in Speech Communication and right after college moved to Aalborg, Denmark to work as a youth pastor intern. After a year of ministry overseas, Matt worked at Hume Lake Christian Camps for six months before landing at Bayside Church in Granite Bay, and has been there for the last four years. He’s got a huge passion for the Lord and for communicating to youth. His passion, coupled with a very sincere goofiness on stage, help him to hit deep topics in a fun but bold way. He loves long walks on the beach, singing opera, and bench-pressing his own wife.
Caradog Eric Anderson has been a Christian for 19 years. What drew him to the Lord was both the fear of God’s righteous judgment of his sin and the sense in his heart that there was a great purpose in life that he hadn’t found. In Christ he found God’s grace, mercy and forgiveness and have had the privilege of being involved in Christian fellowship, the church, the place of God’s great purpose.
Caradog moved to Sacramento in 1995 and since then have taught a bible study at Sacramento State University. He also had the privilege of speaking at a number of summer camps for youth and at different churches in the Sacramento area.
Caradog has been married to his wife Nelya for almost 5 years, and together with their two boys, Isaac (3 years) and Timothy (1 ½ years) they have a great time serving the Lord.
Greg Zhelezny is a Bible Teacher with 15 years of ministry experience.
He has a B.A. from Columbia University in Middle East Languages and Cultures.
He also has an M.A. from Westminster Theological Seminary in Biblical Studies.
He is an author of two books and popular speaker, as well as radio and TV personality.
He lives in Lincoln, California with his wife and two sons.
Tanya has been speaking for Alternatives Pregnancy Center since June 2004. Entering into high schools, youth camps, churches and college campuses Tanya informs her generation of the truth about sex and relationship. She offers a fun, informative and realistic approach to sexual expression and it's impact when experienced outside of the marriage relationship.
"I've seen too many young lives permanently impacted in a negative way because of ignorance or misinformation. My generation has suffered enough!"
Tanya's combination of passion, knowledge, wisdom and authenticity are evident and connect her with people of all ages.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy. Sin has separated each of us from God, but Jesus is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life. To receive forgiveness we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord and submit to His will for our lives. In order to live the fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptized in water and be filled with the Holy Spirit which enables us to use spiritual gifts. God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship Him, fulfill our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.
