Dolla Bill (born September, 8th 1980) is an American rapper, unsigned and independent. Born in Peoria, Illinois, Dolla Bill moved to New Port Richey, Florida at the age of 2. He then moved back to Peoria, Illinois at the age of 10. Dolla Bill ended up dropping out of high school and then got his GED. Dolla Bill was a big fan of hip hop and when he turned 19 he got a 4 track tape recorder, a keyboard, and a microphone. Dolla Bill started writing and recording everyday, spending endless hours in his home studio.
He and a friend started putting out CD's under the group name “Golddigaz” along with putting out CD's of his own. Golddigaz came to an end in 2003 and Dolla Bill moved onto creating The 309 Click soon after. Around 2005 Dolla Bill created a MySpace page and things were starting to take off. The MySpace page enabled Dolla to build connections with producers and artists all over the world. Still looking for a record deal, Dolla Bill and The 309 Click remain releasing songs, doing shows at any chance they get, and still on their grind.
Dolla Bill is now working on solo project 9 “Peorias Biggest Secret” Vol. 2 which will be a mixtape. It will be mainly just hot 16s over industry beats. After this mixtape is done he and a producer named Profetesa will be working on CD10 “Blood, Sweat, & Tears” which will be mainly produced by Profetesa and will be either a double disc or a triple disc.
