We will be playing the 3rd annual **AMAR FEST**. this will be our Second year playing this fuking insanely sweet show.. im really excited about this year because i honestly don't know what to expect.
The event will be a benefit for organizations working to improve the skid row community, and beyond that it will be an introduction to the space that we hope to help make into a cultural center and AMAR's home base. it will feature AMAR visual artists and bands, poets of all around Los Angeles.
WE WILL ALSO FEATURE
-skid row artists -photographers -playwrights - comedians - filmmakers and community organizers representing skid row.
--We'll also be selling our AMAR Compilation CD!! <(with us in it , and such good music from our friends in amar)>
Its packaged with beautiful hand made artwork by amar artists and tracks by amar bands. but waittttt! that’s not all... on top of all this, it will also be the launch date of our zine and podcast/audio documentary series entitled ’Artivism’.
*******performances will take place in multiple rooms*****. food will be served******. this is a family event. please bring a donation of $5 or more! all of the proceeds will go towards helping us develop the community center and getting people out on the streets to help protect this space from being sold off
