Hello and welcome to my Myspace page! Here I’ll keep you informed on my current projects and share some of my older ones. .. .. So! I’m a percussion player. That means I hit stuff for a living ;-) However, there’s method to my madness..:.. I like to play wíth drummers and get locked-in together... I also enjoy playing withóút a drummer and just be a rythm section with the bass. Especially since I’ve been playing those funny boxes called cajóns! For a number of years now I’ve been developing my sound on the cajón and getting my setup built around the cajón. .. Finally, I like to get together with other rythm enthousiasts and have a great flamenco party or samba-batucada! .. .. Want to get in touch with me? This is a samba group we sometimes form around my good friend Meiko Meissner. I'm in the back row on the right, playing a surdo.

Friday (intro-session for beginners "Basics technique, rhythmical listening and theory"), Saturday (standard technique, stimulation and improvisation), Sunday (Advanced technique and combinations).
You are welcomed to attend on the Sunday block if you like, there are 5 other percussionists and musicians teaching with me. The flyer will be published in August in my space, otherwise you are always welcomed for a visit to Hamburg.

Ha Janco, what's up? Voor het geval je nog van plan was te komen (onze enige bezoeker, joehoe): 19 augustus Heeren van Aemstel wordt verschoven. Vanwege privefeestje aldaar. Er staan wel nieuwe Liquid Lefty tracks op m'n space, en we gaan ook nog naar Blijburg, 6 september geloof ik. En vast ook een keertje Pothuys, is lekker dichtbij voor jou.
Hoe gaat het met jou? Ga je nog op vakantie? Of is je leven een grote vakantie?
