Pulse is a cross-over percussion trio with professional musicians: Tim Ouderits, Evert Van Eynde and Tom Ouderits. Their performances are highly qualitative, both from a musical as from an instrumental-technical point of view. The variety of instruments – rhythmic and melodic – has a pleasant and surprising effect on the audience.
Tim, Evert and Tom made their debut as Pulse in 2004 in Bozar in Brussels (Belgium). In 2005 they drew the audience prize at the National Competition for Chamber Music in Almere (The Netherlands). Among many other performances, they also played at the International Marimba Competition in Sint-Truiden (Belgium) for an audience of percussionists of world-wide reputation.
More recently Pulse won the TIM Competition in Verona (Italy) in the category percussion and jazz and they performed at the Flanders Festival in Ghent (Belgium).
