In the immortal words of Solid Pipe Dreams, "Every story has its crisis."*
True enough, every story has hardship. Every story has its moments when all hope is lost, and the heroes are surely vanquished. And these elements are what make the greatest stories. These are what turn stories into epics.
For Spork, their epic is truly just beginning. Hardship seems to be their middle name. At one point during a practice session not more than 20 minutes old, Mark's G-string broke (not that one perverts).
But luckily, G-strings can be mended. The band now has an arsenal of over 25 original songs and counting. They have fans in cities from Odenton to just south of Silver Spring. And when they finally do hit that stage for the first time, they are likely to be one of the sweatiest groups around.
But most of all, Spork is out to prove once and for all, that a band can truly be about the music...even if they hardly ever play it.
* - these words don't actually appear in this song...but they almost did.
