Perfekt born in Brooklyn NY and Chance born in Trinidad met on the Streets of New York through a mutual friend. The 2 have been working together for many years tweaking and mastering their sound. Both with a passion for music, decided to combine their talents to create projects that would separate them from your ordinary rap act. With projects like (For the Love of the Game) the two tell their story of everyday life while persuing their spot as 2 of Hip Hops noticeables. Produced by Chance, who decided to stray from the microphone and put his focus on production, has been the sound behind the lyrically Inclined voice of Perfekt for the last few years. Gaining commercial radio play on Boston’s own WILD 97.7 F.M., the single was followed up by BOSSTOWN (Bully of Da Booth) the mixtape. Hosted by So So Def's DJ Dru Nice an distributed heavily throughout New England, NYC, VA and ATL, the project has created a buzz and hype and now a highly anticipated, soon to be released (Bully of Da Booth) Vol. 2 that will be distributed Nationally.
Perfekt & Chance have recorded promos for the likes of Boston’s own Chief Rocker Moe Dee and David H for their Hot 7 at 7 and Inferno Mix shows, Smash Squad Representative DJ Dru Nice, Power 104.1 Hartford CT’s Heavy Hitter Chubby Chub, Hot 1029's Big Chicago Reggie Beas in Ohio and Chuck Dogg from Power 105.1 in NYC. They have recorded tracks produced by several industry producers such as Fire Factory and Flip Mode Squads DJ Scratchatore. Performances are many and include NY’s Greekfest, the World Famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem,The Strand Theatre in Boston, MASS Art, and Vivid Night Club to name a few. They have performed with and opened for acts such as Queen Pin, Loon, Da Band, Black Rob, JR Writer and Papoose. They have also done segments on 617 Live, BCAT’s Street Knowledge and Rap for Cash in Brooklyn NY as well as radio appearances on L.I.U. Radio, Brooklyn Radio in NYC and Touch 106.1 in Boston.
