Originally from Brooklyn (Flatbush and East New York) NY, Perfekt & Chance arrive on the scene with a refreshing voice for hip hop. With all the heavy Bass pounding tracks that you love but without the saturated crack rap and overly violent themes you have become used to, the 2 instead display their lyrical dynamic with creative wordplay about trending topics. With 6 independently released projects, the duo has a come a long way from that Basement in Brooklyn. PERFEKT & CHANCE met on the streets of New York through a mutual friend. The 2 have been working together for many years tweaking and mastering their sound, Releasing Projects such as “Cold War”, “For the Love of the Game” and “S.O.N.Y. (Streets of New York”), Now residing in Boston, MA aka BOSSTOWN, PERFEKT & CHANCE delivered "Northern Hostility". Produced by Chance, whom decided to stray from the microphone for a moment and put his focus on production. They gained their first commercial radio play with "Northern Hostility" on Boston's own WBOT 97.7 FM. With that kicking off a buzz on the group, the single was followed up with BOSSTOWN "Bully of Da Booth” mixtape. The mixtape was hosted by So So Def DJ, DJ Dru Nyce, and distributed heavily throughout New England, NYC, VA and the ATL. The project created a huge buzz and P&C released “Bully of Da Booth” Vol. 2 "Return of Da Bully" Hosted by Heavy Hitter DJ Chubby Chub, which included production by DJ Scratchator of Flipmode Squad Return of Da Bully produced singles such as “Don’t Break It up” produced by DJ Scratchator which charted top 20 on College radio in the US and Canada and gained commercial spins across the country by some of the Top DJ’s including NY’s own Dj Jazzy Joyce of Hot 97. The second single “Out of Control actually broke into the Top 10 College charts and the project continues to be picked up by various commercial outlets. PERFEKT & CHANCE have recorded promos in the past for the likes of Boston's own Chief Rocka Moe D and David H for their Hot 7 @ 7 and The Inferno mix show that was on WBOT 97.7FM, Smash Squad rep DJ Dru Nyce, WPHH Power 104.1 Hartford, CT's Heavy Hitter DJ Chubby Chub, WDHT Hot 102.9's Big Chicago Reggie Beas and Chuck Dogg from WPWR Power 105.1 in NYC. They have recorded tracks produced by several key industry producers such as Fire Factory and Flipmode Squad DJ Scratchator. They have performed at the likes of NYC Greekfest, the World Famous Apollo Theater in Harlem, The Strand Theater in Boston, MASS Art Institute and various key Boston nightclubs. They have performed with and opened for acts such as Queen Pen, Loon, Da Band, Black Rob, JR Writer and Papoose. They have also done segments on 617 Live, BCAT's Street Knowledge and Rap for Cash in Brooklyn, NY; as well as radio appearances on Clear Channel's WJMN Jam’n 94.5, Radio One's former WBOT 97.7, WTCH Touch 106.1 in Boston, WBRU 95.5 in RI, WLIU Long Island University in NY and a host of others. PERFEKT & CHANCE are currently working on the Trilogy to the Bully series “Lunch Money” and the full Length album “P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens)” to be released 4th quarter 2009. The first track off the P.U.S.H. CD “Ambush” has just been released and picked up by several DJ’s who have begun spinning the record on air in local nightclubs across the country.
