About me:
I moved to Seattle after graduating from college. I love living here, and chances are I'll never leave again if I have a choice. My boyfriend Matthew followed me out here, and we currently live in a sad looking but comfy old house in the north end of the city.
I have had a kind of start and stop life since graduation. I did Americorps for a year teaching, didn't like that, tried graduate school for biology, didn't like my experience there too much. So I left there and did the Wetland Science and Management program at UW, which I enjoyed immensely. I just recently got a job in the wetland consulting field, and so far I love it. Hopefully I will continue liking it. Right now I'm kind of like whoa, I get paid to do this stuff?
I enjoy geeking out about science, reading all kinds of books, drinking soco, and making senseless your mom comments. I love food, and I love baking. I especially love baking while drinking.
