ABOUT PERKS MYSPACE PAGE:
Please use this site to review our concert calendar and note that the next 40 performers are essentially the same as our top 40 "friends". If you are interested to learn more about any of the upcoming musicians simply click on their icon and you will be taken to their Myspace. From there you can review the artists' biographies and listen to their music.
Myspace does not let nonmembers use some functions such as sending messages or viewing a user's pictures. If you try to do this you will be asked to "Please log in to continue" At this point you can simply back-up one page and avoid that function. Or even better, sign-up, (it's free) become a member, and a friend of Perks.

We serve great soups, salads, and sandwiches. We also have cakes, muffins, scones, biscotti, raspberry lime rickies, and hot chocolate etc. Don't let the coffeehouse name scare you.
But, best of all we have FREE live music every Thursday and Friday. See the "Upcoming Shows" (To your right) and "friends space" (Below "Upcoming Shows") for dates and musicians.

Caesar, Oriental, Greek, Garden (all available with grilled chicken or shrimp) or Chef w/ Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef, and Cheese.

Paninis, Clubs, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Daily Lunch Specials, and on Friday, Great Clam Chowder.
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT: EXTREME THIN CRUST INDIVIDUAL PIZZAS:
Pesto with grilled chicken.
White sauce with baby shrimp.
Red sauce with fresh cut basil and choice of toppings.
Chicken parmigiana. (Yea, it's a pizza.)
WHERE IS PERKS COFFEEHOUSE?
Perks Coffeehouse is located at 685 Washington Street (RT. 1a) in the heart of uptown Norwood.
Routes 1, 128, and 95 all pass through Norwood as does the Frankline/495/Forge Park commuter rail line.
Perks is less than a 5 minute walk from both the Norwood Central and Norwood Depot train stops.
ABOUT THE VENUE:
Perks 1400 SQ. FT. dining room seats over 60 people, and on occasion, has held audiences of well over 100.
Perks hosts live original music every Thursday and Friday 8 - 10 PM.
Generally done as two 40 - 50 minute sets.
Perks now has a top of the line Behringer PA system.
System information:
(1) Behringer PMP2000 Amplifier, 350W X2CH, W/10 line mixer.
(2) Behringer E1520 15" 2-way speakers.
(One tripod mounted speaker and one floor monitor.)
(3) Behringer XM8500 Microphones.
(3) DR Pro Tripod Mic Boom Stands.

This system is Rock Solid, but if you would prefer to use your own equipment please let us know in advance. Otherwise we will have the system set up and ready for you to use.
Performers can sell merchandise and take tips but no "pass the hat." We don't charge a cover (yet) or serve alcohol so the gig does not pay a fortune...But the room is worth it! If you would like help with sound please arrive well before 7:30, after 7:30 we are usually too busy to help. Musicians who arrive early get dinner on us!

OUR FAMOUS ORIENTAL CHICKEN SALAD:
Mixed baby greens, carrots, pea-pods, bean sprouts, & Chinese noodles with chicken or shrimp accompanied with our award winning oriental ginger dressing.
TROPICAL CHICKEN SALAD:
Mixed greens served with seasonal fresh fruits your choice chicken or shrimp. Served with a tropical mango dressing or Down East raspberry vinaigrette dressing.
COBB SALAD:
Greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, avocado, slices of hard boiled egg, chopped bacon and sliced chicken, accompanied by a Danish blue cheese dressing.
GREEK PASTA SALAD:
Penne pasta tossed with tomatoes, carrots. kalamata olives, sliced
pepperoncini peppers, Bermuda onions, and feta cheese, with a creamy Greek dressing.
CAESAR SALAD:
Romaine lettuce, hand grated pecorino cheese tossed with a creamy Caesar dressing topped with croutons, chicken or Shrimp.
CAPRESE SALAD:
Sliced tomatoes, sliced fresh mozzarella cheese, topped with a fresh basil pesto. Served over baby mixed greens, drizzled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
HOT ENTREES: 12.95 Per Person.
CHICKEN BROCCOLI AND ZITI:
Boneless chicken sautéed with broccoli, seasonings tossed with Penne in a sauce made of chicken consommé. Garnished with pecorino cheese and black cracked pepper.
CHICKEN PARMIGIANA:
A baked Italian Classic topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and then baked. Served with Penne.
CHICKEN TERIYAKI:
Boneless chicken skewers sautéed in a teriyaki glaze. Served with sautéed vegetables and rice.
MEAT LASAGNA:
Traditional meat lasagna topped with mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce. Served with assorted sautéed vegetables.
VEGETABLE LASAGNA:
A vegetable Lasagna made with a Béchamel sauce and mozzarella sauce. Served with sautéed vegetables. *Please note vegetarian entrée but not Vegan.
PASTA PRIMAVERA:
Your choice of Shrimp or Chicken sautéed in a Chicken consommé sauce with assorted vegetables, seasoned tossed with penne and grated pecorino cheese.
VEGETARIAN PASTA PRIMAVERA:
Sautéed vegetables in a vegetable consommé Seasoned and tossed in Penne with hand grated pecorino cheese and black cracked pepper.
All entrees served with choice of Caesar or Oriental salad, rolls and butter
Selection of cold beverages, fresh fruit or assorted pastries. Includes all paper goods and serving utensils.
COLD LUNCH PACKAGES:
BASIC SANDWICH PACKAGE: 6.95 per person
Selection of basic sandwiches, accompanied with chips and pickles.
THE BOARDROOM PACKAGE: 11.95 per person
Selection of sandwiches, Cole slaw, Potato salad, chips and pickles Oriental Chicken or Caesar salad (less than 15 people, choice of one salad) pastry platter or fruit platter, selection of soft beverages.
DELI PLATTER PACKAGE: 12.95 per person
Same as the Boardroom Package but you create your own sandwich from a platter of meats, vegetables, cheeses, breads and condiments.
All packages include: Paper goods and serving Utensils
Perks delivers.. And will set up any package. Delivery charges are based on the distance.
