Music
I love alternative and rock bands, but some pop-rock bands and stuff like that, too. I love Franz Ferdinand, the Killers, the Bravery, Kaiser Chiefs, the Arcade Fire, APC, Mars Volta, Muse, Maroon 5, Jason Mraz, Tool, Gavin DeGraw, Audioslave, Sarah McLachlan, Tiziano Ferro, Phantom Planet, Howie Day, Matchbox 20, Stabbing Westward, AFI, Matt Nathanson, Postal Service, Panic! At the Disco, Black Eyed Peas, Keane, Oasis, The Calling, CCR, Toby Lightman, Josh Kelley, SoCo, Yellowcard, Green Day, Natalie Imbruglia, Stereophonics, Jet, Linkin Park, the Beatles, Radiohead, the Pixies, the Eagles, Queen, Elton John, NIN, Duran Duran, Gorillaz, Five for Fighting, the Police, Anna Nallick, random 80s and early 90s songs, and the 50s music period-especially Motown. Basically, I'll listen to anything.
Movies
I love dry humor and stupid comedies with about the same passion. I adore horror even though I never get scared. There is nothing more satisfying then mocking a bad scary movie. Great action films with strange twists, a plot, and blood and gore turn me on. If you're talking about a movie, just expect it to go over my head.
Television
Hi, I'm a geek. I love Sci-Fi and Adult Swim. I'll watch episodes of Family Guy, Futurama, Star Trek: TNG, and Quantum Leap over and over again until my eyes go cross. I'm completely enamored with Bleach right now. I do watch reality t.v., but I'm not obsessive about it. Oh, and I love Wesley Crusher. I really do. I want him to be my boyfriend. If only...
Books
ANYTHING. AHHH, I love reading.
Heroes
Jesus... I don't care if you believe he was your savior or is just an amazing person... someone who can aspire greatness in so many is a hero.
I think anyone who gets through his day in a kind and productive way is heroic. I admire all who are stronger than I am, and that's a lot of people.

Everytime I revamp this, I wonder what I should say. I still don't know. That's probably because I don't completely understand myself or where I'm going, but I hope to know someday, and by then, maybe I can fill out this profile.
I'm Amber-Lee. Most people call me Amber or Ambee. I don't really have a preference. I know a few solid things about myself. I'm driven, I'm geeky, I'm a gamer girly, I'm a perfectionist, I'm music-addicted, I'm Christian, but open-minded, I'm goal-oriented, I'm Volvo-obsessed, I'm random as hell, and I'm a social butterfly. I consider these my good qualities.
I also wear my heart on my sleeve. I'm overemotional and overstressed and I know it, and as much as I try to keep the two at bay, they tend to feed into each other. However, this means I love deeply and passionately, so if I decide I love you, that actually means something.
I have a very small but extended family. I am an only child, but two of my best friends who have lived with me are essentially my siblings. Jessica, Jenn, and I can fight and not talk to each other and it's all okay, for we'll always be sisters.
My best friends are my soul friends, as Geoff and I have decided was the correct term. I've been messed with and walked over and I've figured out what true friends really are. I am blessed to have found some of them. Listing them would be impossible because I have such a big list, but they're quite aware of who they are. <3
My Godfamily- Amanda, Faith, Matthew, Amy, and Noah, are amazing. When I think of how I want to take care of my family one day, I include them in it.
I can't forget my blood family- which is really only my parents. They're crazy. I never question where I come from because they are as strange as I am. I am truly my parent's daughter. I am so lucky to have the parents that I do. We get on each others nerves all the time, but we'll always be close.
I'm currently employed at KT Consulting. We work with the government on projects that need highly technically skilled people to fill certain roles, so we find, hire, and manage them. We're currently doing projects at the Pentagon, at local VAs, and with the US Patent and Trade Office.
I'm an IT recruiter, and I love my work! I get to talk to interesting people all day, I love my coworkers, and I only have to commute 5 minutes! Not only that, I actually get to hire people and give them a job with KT Consulting. That's pretty cool.
I'm glad my Business/Marketing and Psych degee lended its skills somewhere <3
As much as I worry about everything and anything I mentioned, I have faith that life will turn out the way it is supposed to. Faith is a good thing.
Chris made me add this- What he decided my pick up line (over the internet or phone) should be "Hey name I am just wearing a tiny pair of panties and a t-shirt you should come over and hang out- I'll give you tator tots."
Who I'd like to meet:
People who give a damn about their life and others, as well. I want to meet good people, whatever that means. People who care.
I would definitely like to get back in contact with anyone I've met at a party, or the community center, or school that I clicked with. Just remember- it doesn't matter how long it's been since we've talked. I still want to know you.
