Alt? Prog? Indie?....It's hard to define the music of Permanently Removed, sometimes a bit bluesy....often a touch psychedelic. It reminds you of one band here...and another artist there...
Permanently Removed are Simon Day (vocals) Rob Reeves (rhythm guitar) David Cartmel (lead guitar) Patrick Driscoll (bass) and Paul Taylor (drums)
Permanently Removed got together after Rob heard some of Simon's material on an internet site. When the band first started in 2005, drummer Steven Mattinson and bassist Stuart Forsyth provided the rhythm section.
The bands highlight of their career to date was playing a well done set at the High Head Green Gathering in September of 2008 ''....I hope we get invited back next year now we have found some dedicated musicians in the band.....''
October 2008 and the band has taken on a new form. With new members Dave, Pat and Paul the band is more rockin than ever, and it is only a matter of time before you can see Permanently Removed at a venue near you....
''We hope you enjoy the DEMOS we have put on the site. We will be venturing into the Studio in the New Year so keep looking out for new mixes and tunes. We will be gigging in 2009 so check back for date and venue details....''
PEACE.....x
