Based in Ulverston the little town with a big heart and a thriving music scene.
Hod is currently working on a new cd of acoustic songs and is starting to gig again.
Sometimes people write nice things about his music:
"Fantastic production and performance" says Miami Dan.
As to the musical mists of time? Hod is more of a "be here now" man but a brief precis never came amiss.
Hod was bass player for legendary Cumbrian NWOBHM band Bitches Sin in their early days.
He formed his own band Goldsmith who gigged extensively and released a much sought after single "life is killing me" and a recent retrospective CD also titled "Life is killing me".
Hod then became one half of "Small in a big way" alongside Emperor Jones aka John Duffin (who recently had 15 minutes of fame with "song for the socceroos" in Oz).
Small in a big way supported Grown Up Strange among others & released a single "Katies Lips".
A move to London saw Hod disappear from anyones musical map until the release of the "Music Room" CD in 2005.
