.. I'm a producer in South Louisiana- Houma... the heart of bayou Cajun Country. I'm also a voting member of the Grammys. I don't work a part time job someplace, I make a living producing songwriters. This means you get ALL of my time. New reasons to hire Digital Sac-a'-Lait Productions: I’ve always preached that the ‘equipment’ wasn’t the answer to becoming a star. I absolutely believe in that statement. My analogy has been “I can buy $50K worth of carpenter’s tools but it doesn’t inherently mean I can build a Sistine Chapel”. Multi-platinum quality recording equipment in the hands of an unskilled engineer will probably produce the same results as me with a bulldozer and a crane… …yes, it could be that nasty… I’ve also believed that great tools make every journeyman’s job easier. When I started my production company, I invested in high-end gear from Roland, Neumann, AKG, Korg, Fender, Gibson, JBL and other top quality professional musical instrument manufacturers whose gear is found in every major recording studio around the globe. My clients will tell you that I make no excuses about the work I do. I put my nose to the grindstone and get the job done. Frankly, unless someone hasn’t been completely frank with me, I have NO unhappy clients after six years and over 500 songs- almost all produced from a “blank container”. I continue to invest in the best tools and have recently made three very significant upgrades… I’ll go on record to say that Digital Sac-a'-Lait Productions is now on par- sonically- with almost any studio on the planet! It’s a large statement, I know. I’ve been applauded by many for the world-class work I do. I’ve recently brought in specific pieces of gear to ‘sonically’ match the quality of the work. 2. “Radio-ready” sounding microphone preamps- hand-built in America. …think of the quality of Motown, Pink Floyd, the Eagles, the Beach Boys, and hundreds of other gold and platinum artists of the late ‘60’s and ‘70’s.
