I've worked with Percy Sledge, Mitch Ryder, Ernie K-Doe, Fats Domino, Joe Barry, Jean Knight, King Floyd, Eddie Bo, Roy Head, and almost all of the Swamp Pop legends in South LA. I've perfomed as an opening act for BB King, Aretha Franklin, the Neville Brothers, Blood, Sweat and Tears, Chubby Checker, Louise Mandrelle, and dozens of others. I've recorded with Percy Sledge, Jean Knight, Mitch Ryder, Ernie K-Doe, and a bunch of other New Orleans greats. I've produced 34 albums to date and the equivalent of 45 albums worth of original songs. For the most part I work with local songwriters (here in South Louisiana). However, I've worked with songwriters around the country as well as with a songwriter in Germany. I'm also working with a great songwriter named Jackie Carlyle. Jackie is an extremely talented writer and stylist. She's about to release an album but has found time to collaborate on two songs. More to come!

About me:

.. I'm a producer in South Louisiana- Houma... the heart of bayou Cajun Country. I'm also a voting member of the Grammys. I don't work a part time job someplace, I make a living producing songwriters. This means you get ALL of my time. If you're in South Louisiana and think you have to go to Nashville to get it right, you should reconsider. I have clients who have said "those guys" (referring to 'those Nashville guys") said "stay with that guy!"... referring to me. The song you hear playing on this page is an original song produced by Digital Sac-a'-Lait Productions. New reasons to hire Digital Sac-a'-Lait Productions: I’ve always preached that the ‘equipment’ wasn’t the answer to becoming a star. I absolutely believe in that statement. My analogy has been “I can buy $50K worth of carpenter’s tools but it doesn’t inherently mean I can build a Sistine Chapel”. Multi-platinum quality recording equipment in the hands of an unskilled engineer will probably produce the same results as me with a bulldozer and a crane… …yes, it could be that nasty… I’ve also believed that great tools make every journeyman’s job easier. When I started my production company, I invested in high-end gear from Roland, Neumann, AKG, Korg, Fender, Gibson, JBL and other top quality professional musical instrument manufacturers whose gear is found in every major recording studio around the globe. My clients will tell you that I make no excuses about the work I do. I put my nose to the grindstone and get the job done. Frankly, unless someone hasn’t been completely frank with me, I have NO unhappy clients after six years and over 500 songs- almost all produced from a “blank container”. I continue to invest in the best tools and have recently made three very significant upgrades… I’ll go on record to say that Digital Sac-a'-Lait Productions is now on par- sonically- with almost any studio on the planet! It’s a large statement, I know. I’ve been applauded by many for the world-class work I do. I’ve recently brought in specific pieces of gear to ‘sonically’ match the quality of the work. 2. “Radio-ready” sounding microphone preamps- hand-built in America. …think of the quality of Motown, Pink Floyd, the Eagles, the Beach Boys, and hundreds of other gold and platinum artists of the late ‘60’s and ‘70’s. The new mic pres are built using the schematics of those exact preamps- and actually are better sounding! These microphone preamps are equal to the preamps in consoles that cost a quarter of a million dollars! 3. Realistic- really realistic- drums! The drum samples are from six of the most popular drum kits used by drummers today! 4. Equalization- Pro tube equalization from A-Designs of California 5. Compression- Pro compression from Drawmer UK

Hey Brother Pershing, you look quite relaxed on the sand. Eric said he was going to stop by this evening for laying down a sound track for our new song. We have one more in the hopper. Both with military themes. Hope you are doing well my friend. Listening to" I Didn't Need this Anyway" on your player. Sounding great as usual, LOL. I'll be heading down to Morgan City with Sandy to see Eric and Gage the end of July, so, I'll plan on swinging by to see you while I'm there. Warm regards, your friend, fan and satisfied customer, Bruce

I'll be strumming "lolling down the liver," yee haw. I have a couple musical instruments to recommend we include on our next song for Eric...Chinese urha (or git fiddle).for one. Eric don't need no fiddle with my new instrument, LOL. What ya think? hehe. See ya down the road my brother.
