Persia is a throwback to old-school New York,
which means she's raw in your face, no-holds barred grimy when rhyming.
But Persia is far from a one-dimensional "thug chick."
Her talent runs deep and she does have a soft side-it just takes a while to come out.
Raised by a strong independent woman,
Persia embodies all that the streets of Far Rockaway have taught her along with the values that her mother instilled in her.
And this shows in every rhymes she spits.
Fast forward to summer 2006 when she spit her first rhyme at an audition for what would soon be VH1's" The White Rapper Show."
Some are just naturals...pulled into the business like a calling, and she is one of these people.
Rapping, not for the fame and fortune but because it just seemed to be second nature. A therapeutic release...
And with over fans all over the world, she's got an army behind her.
Her mixtapes sell, people pay big money to get her on a track, and she's the guest star at live shows all over.
Some acts need a gimmick...but these days people trust real people...who speak the truth.
Persia has the lyrical skills to rock the hardest cyphers on the block to the packed floors of any club.
Not everything is a massive take over...something's things are small wars won every day in front of the microphone.
