  • Bio

William and Timothy had been playing in many London bands before crossing paths one eventful night and realising they shared the same obsession for seething electronics, dirty beats and angular guitars: 4 hours and countless drinks later Personal Space Invaders were born The boys went through many changes, different line ups, only to find their relationship got stronger, their sound tighter. Never afraid of taking risks, Personal Space Invaders developed a unique and distinctive sound which is not indie, is not pop, it’s just their own: think a mix of New Order, Depeche Mode, Bloc Party and Daft Punk and you are only half way there. Their killer single Not My Boyfriend got championed by Radio One’s Nick Grimshaw and quickly made it to the playlists of XFM, NME Radio and virtually every university radio in the country. Described by NME as ‘a great new band form London Town’, Personal Space Invaders are (in)famous for their energetic live shows which often see frontman Will climbing on anything available only to then let himself fall on the raving crowd. It was at one of this sweat-full gigs that T4’s Rick Edwards saw the band for the first time and loved them so much that went on to describe them as his favourite live act of 2010. Tough Times is the band’s new single that will be released in March 2011 and supported by a UK and European tour
