Amanda Jones started out at Helter Skelter as the coat check girl, back in the early days of the ECE. She is the original Perversion DJ for the main room, and also promotes Malediction Society on Sunday nights.
Bruce Perdew is one of the cofounders of Perversion. He stared spinning way back in the day, in the back Velvet room, when Perversion had three rooms. He now spins in the front room, and plays a mix of Goth, Dark Wave, Indie, Electro, and more.
Mike Stewart is the other cofounder of Perversion, He was the original DJ at Helter Skelter, Scream & Stigmata, as well as the other original DJ for the main room. After a long absence, he has finally made it back to the DJ booth.
Sally is the latest addition to the Perversion crew. Every Thursday she spins in the front room with Bruce Perdew.
We are located at 7070 Hollywood Blvd. (between Highland & La Brea Av) There is cheap $8 Parking across the street under the Knitting Factory. The entrance is on Sycamore, just north of Hollywood Bl.
From The Valley: Take the 101 Frwy south to Highland Avenue. Exit and take...
Highland Ave to Hollywood Blvd. Turn right on Hollywood Blvd, go west for two blocks. The club will be on your left side.
From Orange County: Take the 5 Frwy north to the 101 Frwy north. Exit Hollywood Blvd and turn left. Take Hollywood Bl for about 2 1/2 miles, past Highland Av. The club will be on your left side.
From Long Beach: Take the 710 Frwy north to the 5 Frwy north, then to the 101 Frwy north. Exit Hollywood Blvd and turn left. Take Hollywood Bl for about 21/2 miles, past Highland Av. The club will be on your left side.
From Santa Monica: Take the 10 frwy east and exit La Brea. Turn left and go north until you hit Hollywood Blvd. Turn right on Hollywood Bl and the club will be on your right side.
