I'd like to say that writing is my love, but truly it is the most agonizing, soul-wrenching thing that one can do to oneself. In all honesty, in some aspects I would prefer to have my fingernails ripped out than to sit down and write, but if I don't, then how could I ever empty the giant vat of ideas that are inside of me? I'm in the market for a muse---someone to watch over me, share my joy and pain, and kick me in the seat of the pants whenever I need it (which is often).
