He Of The House's very first (of many) compilation. Nineteen tracks from twenty artists, the end result of which is possibly one of the most diverse compilations I've ever heard. From soft spoken acoustic folk to raving, churning dirge tunes; from a noisy, industrial cover of a Sonic Youth song to oldschool punk from when it was still raw, fast, and unforgiving. Powerviolence peppers the grounds where spooked whispers whinny along, and the caustic words of a madman festering in his own mind play out over perpetually plucked guitar strings. A true honour it is to work with these amazing artists, and I do hope we can keep them coming back for years.

WELFARE TRUST CHARITY!!!!!!!!
The phenomenon is tunable in that the characteristic sounds and intensities of those sounds depend on the characteristics of the RF energy as delivered... Because the frequency of the sound heard is dependent on the pulse characteristics of the RF energy, it seems possible that this technology could be developed to the point where words could be transmitted to be heard like the spoken word, except that it could only be heard within a person..s head. In one experiment, communication of the words from one to ten using ..speech modulated.. microwave energy was successfully demonstrated. Microphones next to the person experiencing the voice could not pick up these sounds
Renegade Craft Fair....."Rain or Shine". Chicago's forecast for this Sunday.....40% chance for a rain shower. I say we still go, it'll be an Egierski Adventure. (A little rain never hurt anyone, well maybe the wicked witch from the west, but that's another story. )
So, SRA is now taking preorders on two new releases that should be coming out during the first week of August... I proudly present:
DANIEL CLOUGH - A TRIP TO THE MOUNTAIN SHARK (SRA004)
Abrasive, strange, dynamic grey noise with what sounds like subtle field recordings stumbling their way through, somehow creating the illusion of melody. Created using a casio, a mic, and a load of tapes and a tape deck + the good ol' Reverb & Delay. Sample up here: http://www. naszczepanik. com/sra/A_Trip_To_The_Mountain_Shark. html (One of the quieter tracks on the record.) Limited to 50 copies.
MACHINEFABRIEK - VLOED (SRA011)
Can't even begin to emphasize how happy I am to be able to work with Rutger aka Machinefabriek. Quite a talented guy, with releases on labels as diverse as Lampse., Digitalis, and Kning Disk, this album is a compilation of 3 live sets (the shortest running in at 16 minutes long). Take a listen to the sample available here: http://www. naszczepanik. com/sra/Vloed. html Limited to 180 copies.
Both releases are professionally printed CD-Rs and insert / tray card, and packaged in a shrink-wrapped jewel case. Prices are $8.50 each + shipping. There's now an online store using paypal buttons, so just head to the site if you're interested in ordering:
You guys are just amazing! What gear do you use? My next project is going to be a Folk/Psychedelic and I'd like to know what you use to get your sounds.
