----------------------In today’s ever-evolving, “internet friendly” musical landscape, the Pete and Mike Band is a beacon for those seeking authentic and original music by independent artists who have not succumbed to the contemporary standards of popular music. An entirely self-produced acoustic duo from Woods Hole, MA, Pete and Mike take pride in their do-it-yourself approach to making music, merchandise, and videos and are motivated by a growing fan base of music lovers who are not satisfied when they turn on a major radio station. Comprised of its two founders, singer/songwriter Pete McNamara and multi-instrumentalist/engineer Mike Schanbacher, the Pete & Mike Band also frequently collaborates with guest musicians in studio, and more commonly on stage to fill out their live sound. Pete and Mike are currently at work in their home studio recording their fourth self-produced album, Wordplay, to be released this coming June.
