Bio
.. --> HTML Codes by Code-Generator.net --> ..Well, getting on to myspace a little late but better late than ever. Up until now, most of my networking has just been allot of hard working. I'm a writer from Louisville Ky and have been blessed to work with some of the finest talent in Nashville and on the west coast. There are just too many to name but hey! you guy's know who you are so if your checking me, let me say, thank you. I do want to give a special thanks to Heather Cowles, one of the greatest vocalists I've had the pleasure to hear and work with. She has been the greatest gift of all as far as bringing my songs to life. I'll be adding her banner soon so if your in need of a wonderful demo singer and beautiful person inside and out, look her up, thank you Heather. If you take the time to listen any of my song's I would really appreciate it. The thing I try to do most of all is first, try a write something that has commercial value, second, which is easier said then done, is to try and be original in my songwriting and I must say I pride myself on that. It seems everything that could be said in song's has already been used, that said, I'm pretty good at putting a different twist into my lyrics and or incorporating some kind of cutting edge to my tunes. My goal and dream is like many others I know, to write something special that people will hear on the radio someday. That dream seems to be getting closer and closer with each passing day and now it's getting to decision time. I have the great tunes, now it's time to get them from point a to point b. I had the fortune, or misfortune if you will, to be a co-writer on a song several years ago. And being young and naive, my partner and I sold the song outright and it ended up doing pretty well on the charts. I think I made a mistake, but, I guess like life you live and learn. My hope is to get my songs to major artists and let them turn them into hits. However, I'm not opposed to finding an up and coming singer or band to pitch my songs to also. So, singers or bands give a listen, and if you have any interest, I'm ready to talk. Since I have no idea who may land on my site, I'll share another quick story of misfortune with you. I'm doing this because maybe some other artist out there may read my story and not make the same mistakes I made. Anyway, about ten years ago I'm setting in a honky tonk in Los Angeles, having a beer, listening to a great band and having a wonderful conversation with a girl I met there. We drank, we danced and laughed for hours. I told her I write music and she said she'd love to hear some of my songs etc. About that time, the lead singer in the band said there was a special guest in the house and she was going to come up and sing a couple of songs. Lo and behold it was Ms. Terri Clark, so I like everyone else was looking around to see where she was....thats right...my new friend and dance partner who I had been hanging with having the time of my life, stood up and headed toward the stage. The funny thing is, she already had a few hits and was pretty popular on the country charts and I certainly knew who she was and all but she was just as laid back and down to earth as anyone you will ever meet. That said, I didn't recognize her until they introduced her and she made her way to the stage..lol....When she finished, true to her word we went out to my car and I played a couple of songs for her. She said she really liked them and gave me her managers phone number in Nashville. A month or so passed and I called the number and to my surprise, it really was her manager, I was so shocked or whatever that I hung up the phone, needless to say, as time passed, I lost her number and now I have the perfect song for her which she could make into an instant hit. The moral of this story is, Singers, bands, writers and all others out there in the music biz or aspiring to be, DON'T LET ANY OPPORTUNITY PASS YOU BY FOR LACK OF TRYING, That chance may never come again, trust me, throw caution to the wind and let er rip, all they can tell you is no and if I recall, hey they told The King himself no many times before someone finally took a chance on him and we all know how that story ends. Outside of music, I just love life and all the beauty that it entails. I'm the outdoor type, love the water and love the feel of the slopes in the winter as I'm flying down the hill. I am the one person that if you did know, you'd say, Now that guy really doesn't have any enemies and it would be true. I love to travel and would much rather load up the car with a good friend and head out across the country, which I've done 7 or 8 times, I can't remember because it was so much fun. We have a beautiful country and I hope to see much more of it in the day's ahead of me. In finishing, if you wanna get with me about anything musical or if you just want some new friends in you life, hit me up I'd love to here from you and if you took the time to check out some of my songs, thank you very much, I really do appreciate that.
