Peter Sciretta's Blurbs |
About me:
Peter Sciretta was born in the year 2055. At age 10, some people said he was a genius, but most called him retarded. He proved them all right.
At age 18, he invented time travel (an idea that came to him when he discovered that he had accidently left his cat in the freezer). After traveling back in time to 12 hours earlier so that he could save his cat from frozen doom, Peter found himself trapped in a paradox world where his other self never found the frozen cat, and in effect there were now two of him (one of whom never created time travel).
Peter decided the best thing to do would be to travel back in time to the year 1998, and continue his future in the past (you following me?). This way he could relay the information needed to stop the deadly Y2K crash that now never happened (which he got no credit for due to a NDA he signed with Microsoft), and live happily at a time when the Internet and the United States weren't yet owned by the evil corporation Google (they're not evil now but.... well, you'll see...)
Peter lives happily in San Francisco, CA where he likes to consume large amounts of information and entertainment when he's not out with his friends or trying to save the world. He once made a feature film, but that didn't turn out too well. It was probably the best educational and inspirational experience of his life. Sometimes he writes a new movie script, this happens a couple times a year... beware!
Peter owns and opperates /Film, a movie news and review blog. This occupies the majority of his time. Peter attends on average, 5 new movie screenings a week, and on occasion has the chance to interview some very cool people. He has recently attended the Toronto International Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, and San Diego Comic-Con. He has been quoted on Movie Posters, DVD Boxes, Television Advertisments, The New York Times, The LA Times, and he was once interviewed (briefly) on CNBC's On The Money.
