About myself? Well this is one topic that leaves me speechless really! It always feels strange to try and let people know what you have done in your career without it feeling like an obituary!! At 37 I'm still alive and working hard! But talking about myself is not a skill that comes naturally to me I'm afraid! All I can say is that I have just produced my 111th record and I'm lucky enough to have had some great success Worldwide. 4 number one records, 10 UK top tens, and over 50 records in Germany. I also received an Ivor Novello award in 2002 which, at 29, was a moment!. Being a pop songwriter/producer isn't exactly the "rock n roll" ride that you dream of growing up but it's been a journey of discovery alright!!! The one thing I have learned about this industry is that you have to take it with a pinch of salt! Having a sense of humor is the only remedy to get you though the days where no-one believes in you or your songs! And if you're in it for the big bucks then your 20 years too late!! But the power of a great song is the greatest power there is. I'm still a believer in "the song" whether it's digital, physical, virtual or syber-i-phonic-able !
