Pete Le Freq (aka Pete Crump) has the funk and has been hiding it in a box for the last 9 years, releasing tiny bits every time he plays out.

Pete has been resident for Siesta33 and Universal Groove in Bradford, Why Not?, Dogma and Choobe @ the Cell in Lincoln, always bringing the funk, but never exhausting it. He’s done guest slots across the UK, from places as diverse as Leeds, Bath, Nottingham, Cambridge and Jersey, playing with the likes of the Inland Knights, The Littlemen, Cagedbaby, DiY Discs, Matt Shrewd, Brothers Bud and many more!

Last year Pete decided to make some tunes, and to his surprise, they turned out quite well - making his label Llama Farm Recordings one of the ones to watch for 2008, with upcoming tracks from Kinky Movement, Jay West, Pete himself, and recent discovery Jackin’ Box.
