Yo! So where to start? Been djing for bout 5 years after my bro told me to ask for decks for my 18th birthday and my parents nicely agreed to buy me them. More recently I have been concentrating on making tracks. I like making soulful beats. Some of my stuff is leaned towards hip hop, some to funk and some to just soul boy chillers. I´m also working on more dancefloor-friendly "i gotta play this in the club on Friday night" type tracks;-)
I also present The Super Dope Show on Subcity Radio on Tuesdays, 10-11am. If you arent really functioning at that time you can always listen again by using the 'listen again' section of the webiste. www.subcity.org
I live in Woodlands.

This month BIG team up with the institution that is Triptych to bring you a day of psychadelic audio and 12-String hallucinatory folk in the form of James Blackshaw. Supporting will be one of Edinburgh's freshest and most innovative folk & blues talents Ewan Gibson and the ever handsome BIG DJs (The Frantic Ant & Godot).
James Blackshaw "A supernatural twelve-string diviner, James Blackshaw’s intoxicating muse educes European classicism, contemporary minimalism, exquisite melody and nigh-on Balearic trance. His incredible, finger-picking idiom pays lavish homage to the guitar mavericks of Sixties folk / raga melting pot Takoma (John Fahey, Leo Kottke, Robbie Basho et al). His instrumentals have been exalted by Pitchfork, Uncut, The Wire – and he’s toured with the likes of Espers, Sir Richard Bishop and Marissa Nadler. His latest album, The Cloud of Unknowing, is extraordinary. He will take your breath away."
