All sorts,
from folk bands like Planxty, Kila, Joanna Newsom, Kate Rusby, Flook and Mozaik. Classical music such as Rachmaninov, Debussy, Taverner and English choral music. Rock and Electronica such as The Beatles, The Stones, Radiohead, John Martyn, Aphex Twin, Mogwai. To my friends that influence me most like Tom McGrath, Nathan Weston, Ronan Murray and so many more that I'll never think of and you'll never read.
Not much to tell. Living in Dublin after spending the last few years doing a degree in music and recording in Salford Uni in Manchester. I love rich music with nothing to prove. I look for and try to write music that hopefully isn't trying to be like something else, isn't too predictable but flows naturally. Music for music's sake is OK in my book.
I'm still finding my feet in composition so don't expect me to be too consistant.
Thanks for reading.
Pete

Hi Pete,
Good to hear from you. How was the wedding? I bet you it was ace. I'm doing good, living in Dunfermline, working in Glasgow (in a sound post-production studio). I'm working on some new music which I really need to send you to see what you think, cos I'm not too sure...
Love your new tracks by the way!
Hello there, long time no speak!! Hope you and Lynette are doing splendidly, Tom McG told me all about the wedding and said it was beautiful and that he had an amazing time, it seems so long ago, but either way, very belated congratulations, what are both of you up to? Manchester is not the same without you!! x
