About me:
Hi I'm Pete' a freelance disc jockey originally from Harrogate but now living in Osmotherley, I work as a DJ at the nightclub, The Matrix (Ripon) Thursday and Saturday. I have now left The Amadeus, Northallerton where I worked the Wednesday and Friday (I had my reasons) but would like to thank the management for letting me work at their club.
DJing is something I have always wanted to do, my father told me that I would never make anything from it and he would give me two weeks before I packed it in.
Of course I was out to prove him wrong, and 20+ years later I'm still here doing what I do best - DJing. People seem to think it's an easy job, but let me tell you - it isn't. It can be very stressful at times. I started out as a mobile disco at the age of 17, at the age of 18 I worked my first club in Harrogate called Legends
I still do the occasional mobile from time to time, but I am more devoted to the club scene. I know what people want and how to deliver it to them. In my years of DJing I've worked along side Booty Luv, Big Brovaz also Alex Pepper (used to work for Galaxy 105)
Although some people don't appreciate my main taste in music I do carry a vast range of tunes to keep those feet moving. I take great pride in my music and would say
MUSIC IS MY LIFE
I am looking further afield at other venues as I would prefer working in larger clubs, although I have been told I'd do well on the radio lol maybe my silly side has something to do with that, should the opportunity arise, I'd love to have a try.
Who I'd like to meet:
Would love to hear from club owners looking for dance and trance DJ's, also promoters - UK or Abroad.
