Hinter dem Künstlernamen Housemeister steckt mit Martin Böhn einer der umtriebigsten Aktivisten der Berliner Technoszene. Am bekanntesten ist er als DJ und Produzent. Daneben profiliert er sich aber auch als Labelbetreiber, Partyveranstalter und Journalist. Seine Bookings führen Housemeister seit Jahren regelmäßig in alle wichtigen Clubs in Deutschland und der Mayday. Hinzu kommen zahlreiche Gastspiele im angrenzenden Ausland. 1998 tritt er dem Künstlerkollektiv Bpitch Control bei. Mit dem ersten Release auf Ellen Alliens Label wird er auch international wahrgenommen.
