As long time friends who first met in high school and previous bands in the Midwest, Leno, Taj Dahl and Rock Wyldde came together to form Velvet Dog in mid 2007 after a previous singer had passed away. After polishing their chops, explosive theatrics and on-stage antics Velvet Dog exploded onto the Chicago rock scene infecting fans with their debut album, Spreading the Disease. The bands latest album, In Heat, (released May 30, 2009), takes Rock Wylddes testosterone fueled lyrics and stadium ready guitars along with Lenos thunderously roaring bass and Tajs rhythmic insanity behind the drums, to create an album of fist-pumping Rock & Roll! After a triumphant set at last years event, Welsh Glamsters Tigertailz return to the Hard Rock Hell stage. DEC 4TH TO 6TH PRESTATYN NORTH WALES
This unheard of back-to-back appearance is said to be a result of fan power, with the HRH forum being flooded with good things about their performance in 2008. Tailz join American rockers New York Dolls and W.A.S.P as well as adding to the strong UK Hard Rock presence which already includes The Quireboys and Terrorvision.
