   Peter Amidon's Blurbs
About me:
I don't know how it happened, but somehow, one day, at the Old Songs Festival, Roger the Jester and I ended up in the children's tent at the same time. Without any consultation, I started telling a story and Roger acted it out. We have done it a lot since then, calling the act "We Know Not What We Do" and it is one of my favorite things to do on this planet. About me: I love to tell stories, write choral arrangements of songs, sing with Mary Alice and with the boys and with the Guilford Community Choir and with Hallowell (our hospice singing chorus) and go for walks and watch movies and share meals and gossip with friends and read a good book and improvise on the piano and lead dancing with children and be surprised by wonderful music and have New York City shift my paradigm.
Who I'd like to meet:
Dostoevsky, George Elliot, Bela Bartok, Herman Melville, Jane Austen, and, oh yes, George Elliot. I have already met quite a few people that I would have liked to meet.

Hi Peter, thanks for the add. Always enjoy seeing you both at Old Songs, whether I'm in the audience or on the "business end" of the Performer Check-in/Hospitality table -- if you ever need a "Sharpie" marker, let me know, I've got connections...

Going to school - busy busy busy. I get a few gigs every now and then which is nice to help us stay occupied. Mostly just trying to finish classes as quickly as possible. Rachel and I are both graduating this May as long as everything goes just right. She's got student teaching all next year so she's taking the summer off to try and relax a bit while she can. I'm doing summer courses to knock out as many as I can so next year can be as slow as possible while I prepare my senior recital. Seems like I'm seeing you guys more online than anything else. OH! Rachel and I have converted to Mac just recently when our PC died for the last time during finals week, we decided it was for the best. It was a shame we had to miss the mini-reunion in mass, but with our schedules it just couldn't happen right now. Good to hear from you guys again!! Keep in touch!!!!
