13 year old Peter Bank of Northeast PA has been on the local scene for nearly three years now. Sharing the stage and playing with numerous local musicians, he just can't seem to absorb enough. His tone, contrast and flavor already rich in his early stages as a musician, will undoubtedly continue to grow and entertain many along the way.
Peter has been surrounded by music for all of his 13 years. He has a musical family, including father, mother, sister, uncles and cousins and has enjoyed exploring different instruments, ranging from Great Grandpa's fiddle to his uncle's studio full of musical equipment. He has also taken advantage of music instruction within his school to include saxophone, clarinet and string bass. Christmas 2004, his uncle surprised him with his first electric guitar and amp, and he hasn't put it down since. Lessons began at age 10 with his teacher/mentor Spencer Reed, who connected immediately with Peter. Spencer has brought Peter onto the local scene, inviting him to play at numerous local venues.
Peter's father (a percussionist himself) thought he would grow to become a drummer. Peter would sit upon his father's lap as a baby and would play air drums with Dad's help. His father would occasionally put an acoustic guitar on the floor for Peter to strum, and he would bang and pluck that guitar until the strings broke, a sign of what was to come!
Peter's musical influences are diverse, yet gravitate toward blues/rock. They include Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, Derek Trucks, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Warren Haynes, BB King, John Coltrane, Curtis Mayfield, Otis Rush, Leslie West, and such present-day young musicians as Nick Sterling and Eric Steckel. Peter's dream is to create his own power trio that will bring back this classic sound to the new generation.

Thank You!
I want to thank my Dad for all he does.....Ed Nightingale (my uncle), and Spencer Reed, for sharing their music. They are my mentors and have inspired, and influenced me in my music and life! They are responsible for the music featured on this website, along with the members of the notorious Old 7 Band, and the soon to be featured "live" and studio music, including the upcoming videos. I ultimately look forward to the release of my own "self titled" CD.
None of this would be possible without them. "This music is what it's all about to me, and it's only going to get better". "Watch Me"
A very special thanks to Andy Billow (my uncle) for all his support and for putting the first electric guitar in my hands. Also to Corey Billow (my cousin) and percussionist extraordinaire!
