Peter Byrne
Bound by no genre, Peter Byrne writes music that is driven by the beat of his heart. It stems from the pure emotional content of the moment. The composition reflects the true feelings of the artist during the peak of creativity. And the performance does full justice to the emotional impact of the written song itself. More honesty in songwriting cannot be found. This is the secret to Byrne's artistic power. "My style of writing varies depending on how I feel. At the moment I'm writing more swing and blues songs, but my first record has a folksy style."
Emotions
A rainbow of emotion is packed into every song that springs from Byrne's creative process. It is a manifestation of the emotional spectrum he himself perceives in the being of music. Music makes him feel, he says, "happy, sad, confused, amazed, perplexed, surprised, mesmerized and inspired ... but most of all, it makes me feel alive!" And truly, Byrne's music is an awakening, a shot to the mind of pure transcendent adrenaline. Feel your consciousness achieve a keen edge at the hands of Byrne's potent songwriting.
Honesty
But most of all it is honesty, says Byrne, that drives his music. Emotional honesty, intellectual integrity and purity of creativity. No restrictive parameters surround Byrne's songwriting. He writes in the moment, with freedom tempered by insight, offering songs that make you feel and are the essence of feeling themselves. Speak and sing from the heart and the listener will follow. Nowhere is this more true than in the songs of Peter Byrne. "Music has always brought me comfort. I hope mine brings the listener a little comfort too."
The Artist at Work
Byrne is busy putting his all into all aspects of his music. Joe Guercio (Elvis Presleys musical director Las Vegas,1970-77) is collaborating with Byrne on the strings and arrangement of his new song, "The Love Song." Guercio has praised Byrne's work and is readily offering his skills, both by talent and reputation, to Peter's work. Byrne has worked alongside Tia Sellers, songwriter for the Dixie Chicks. Europe finds Byrne offering his tunes via a one-hour radio show,Warsaw, and he is celebrating ten years in the Quays Music Hall in Galway, Ireland. Byrne has announced that the new album should be ready by Christmas. His schedule reflects his passion. "Without music I would be dead. Fact: It is my life and I love it." Byrne is currently working with A&R Select, the leading indie A&R firm in Hollywood, CA.
"Peter Byrne's work is the organic expression of clear artistic vision." - A&R Select -
