About me:
PLEASE SEND A FRIENDS REQUEST TO MY NEW RADIATION ROOM PROFILE - http://www.myspace.com/radiationroom/

Here's my bio courtesy of XM Radio....
Peter Paul Carli is a multitalented musician and music mixer who who has been developing the art of the "live remix" since his early years as a club and rave DJ and live sound engineer.
Blessed with "perfect pitch", he demonstrated musical aptitude at an early age. As a youngster, Carli got hooked on the sounds of Patrice Rushen, Tavares, Rufus, and Stevie Wonder, which pointed the way to a career in dance music.
"Frustrations with music lessons along with listening to the 'A Night At Studio 54' album over and over is what ultimately got me interested in DJing," says Carli. "When you are the DJ, you can be any band or style of music that you want to be."
With the help of investors, Carli opened a gothic and industrial themed nightclub in his hometown of York, Pennsylvania, called "The Fenix", which became a force in the alternative and techno music scenes in the mid-Atlantic region during the 1990s. "The Fenix was kind of like a rave years before the rave scene came into being," reminisces Carli. "Controlling your own venue gives a DJ lots of freedom to experiment with music styles and mixing techniques that one would otherwise not have when working for someone else. Plus you can add live keyboards, drum machines, and special effects to the music mix when you control your own show." At the Fenix, a nightly DJ set might have included anything from big band swing to Led Zeppelin to the occasional country tune, as well as progressive club mixes by the likes of the Nine Inch Nails, LA Style, Cypress Hill, and New Order. It was this unique musical diversity that garnered Carli a following from as far away as Philadelphia and Washington DC.
Carli left the Fenix in the late 90's and entered the world of music production with a series of aerobic music soundtracks. But real success hit in 2002 with a dance remix of a novelty record called "Who Farted?", by Uncle Tone & Lil Man.
"That remix opened some serious doors for me, leading to nightclub DJ gigs as well as additional production work," said Carli. "Right now I am working ..d cover versions of some disco favorites and plan on recording an album of smooth jazz sometime in late 2008. Adding DJ mixes for Chrome to the list, it's sort of like coming home."
Resume and DJ demo available on request.

Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone who is serious about a career in the entertainment biz, whether you are an aspiring writer, musician, singer, sound engineer, producer, DJ, actor, dancer, and/or theatrical person. I'm especially looking for the next big thing in music, to help you develop your talent and help guide you to the success that God intended you to be.
Musical genres I'm most especially interested in working with are jazz/acid-jazz/smooth-jazz, "nu-soul" and R&B, techno, disco/house/club, and certain styles of alternative/progressive rock, "new wave", and progressive leaning hip-hop. ***If you are a country act, I can direct you to a business associate who is an expert in the genre. If you do punk/metal/hardcore, I can also direct you to other producers who work in those genres.***
If you an old pro at entertainment management and actively working in the biz, give me a shout-out as I am looking for professional representation.
