How can I say this?

It’s taken me many years to learn, and I’ve wasted much of my life chasing the wrong things, but I have finally realised that my purpose in life is to inspire others and show them how to achieve their true potential.  I am successful by helping others to become successful!!

That’s why I created my websites and this MySpace page.  I want to instil in all the many talented people out there, who may be disillusioned and discouraged,  a REAL hope, a PLAN and the CONFIDENCE that it CAN happen..

We are meant to live life abundantly – whatever your religion (and even if you are not religious) most people acknowledge a universal POWER that is at work.  If we ACT in a certain way, that POWER will move to help us.

 So…  Who is this Peter Burgess anyway, and Why should I trust him to Help me?

I have always been an entrepreneur at heart, and over the years have started several successful small computer companies.  Somewhat of an idealist I really wanted to make my mark on the world, and a natural curiosity led me to explore the natural laws of the universe and to look for the reasons things happen as they do – the SECRETS of success.

If you’re anything like me, you have a love for technology and a belief that the internet holds the key – not only to financial success, but to living the kind of lifestyle you always wanted.

I struggled for seven years…

For seven years I struggled to find success on the internet.  I worked hard.  I bought books, listened to CD’s, attended seminars.  I tried MLM and Network Marketing. 

Discouraged and disillusioned I was on the verge of giving up.  I thought I knew WHAT was wrong – I just didn’t know HOW to fix it…  I had no idea how to effectively market my business!!!! 

Then One Email changed it all…

I don’t actually remember how I came to read this email.  Something in it I guess sparked within me.  It was written by someone who had experienced EXACTLY the same problems I had, and found the answer I had been looking for..  And the penny dropped..!!

At LAST I had found a company that provided a real mentor – someone successful who knew all the pitfalls, who could guide me through establishing a sound marketing plan for my new business.

What’s more, here was a NEW business model…  NO MORE traditional MLM and Network Marketing – this is a “GET PAID TODAY” DIRECT SALES business model..!!

In SEVEN years of searching the internet for the RIGHT opportunity, I had finally found a business model that for me makes perfect business sense.  Most importantly, a company that shared my values, that provided VALUABLE assistance to me – that meant I did not have to worry about:-

Selling and Follow-up!

Chasing for leads!

Pressure to recruit!

“Old-School” Marketing!

But the MOST IMPORTANT PRINCIPLE I have learned in life is…..

Success in anything you do is dependent on certain qualities..

Desire - you HAVE to WANT to succeed

Vision – “see” what it is you want - clearly

Focus – concentrate your time and energy on what you want

Commitment – make a Decision and be prepared to do WHATEVER it takes

Perseverance – DON’T give up

The story of Colonel Sanders (the founder of Kentucky Fried Chicken) is well known and illustrates these principles so well..

At 65 he was broke and alone..  He got his first Social Security check of $105 and he got mad… He started to think about how he could be of service to others and decided his recipe for chicken was worth sharing..  So he hit the road and spent the next TWO YEARS travelling from town to town looking for a restaurant that would partner with him.  He was turned down 1009 times before he found someone who said “Yes” 

THAT is Desire, Vision, Focus, Commitment and Perseverance

If you don’t have, or can’t develop those attributes, you will struggle to succeed.
