It drifted down
in six spoked lace
to blanket everything in white
No more did grey
and brown
and faded green
rule the scene
It had been transformed
winter can come and go
in a day and a night
as Jack Frost nips randomly
at the noses
of otherwise well bundled children
busily rolling Frosty into life
Tomorrow it will all be gone
puddles mostly
and a shade protected sprinkle of white
dotted here or there
the only evidence of the magic that was
May the rest of this year
and all of next
be filled with magical moments
and may love and peace abound
-Lil
