Multi-talented, singer/songwriter Peter Evans first uncovered his passion for music at age 11 when his father taught him his first 3 chords on the guitar. A year later he was playing on a drum set and by age 17 he had added keyboard and bass to his instrumental vocabulary and (self-taught) had already began writing and recording his own music and vocals. His musical career picked up a fan base and he quickly became well-known in the Madison music scene as he entertained fans while playing drums with blues rock band Heavy Handed and lead vocals and guitar with Axis, a band he formed with friend Jeremy Adams. His name has continued to grow among fans and he was recently interviewed on Madison’s local radio station 89.9 WORT.
Originally from the Midwest cities of Chicago, IL and Madison, WI, Peter Evans spent years traveling through and living in Europe, Central and South America, Lake Tahoe and the British Virgin Islands before settling in Portland, OR in 2006. Years of adventurous travel coupled with insane social, psychedelic and world influences have opened this young musician’s mind to all different cultures, beliefs and styles of music. Fresh and creative, driven and motivated, Peter Evans composes and produces innovative and musically inspiring tracks with a smooth and refreshing sound that captivates listeners and leaves fans feeling entertained, uplifted and ready to dance! “I want people to feel a sense of clarity from within. Pete I had my baby Monday mornin at 938 am!! Baby Boy 8lb 15oz, huge, only 12ish hrs of contractions, 10 min of pushing and he was swimmin out like the little Pisces fish that he is!!
