About me: I am currently living in Rochester, NY where I was born. I was a bit of a gypsy growing up but settled in northern NJ growing up in Bloomfield, Belleville, and Montclair, NJ. There I had my first GREAT band, BLACKJACK. We were very popular but when Nirvana came along, it killed us and we broke up after that. I moved to Pittsburgh, PA where I attended university at Slippery Rock U. as a music therapy major. I studied voice and percussion. I had great experiences performing with the SRU singing groups and jazz combos. I was a member of a great unsigned band, RUNNING ON EMPTY. Our highlight was opening up for FOREIGNER on their 2002, 25th anniversary tour. WHAT A GREAT BAND WE WERE!!
I moved up to Rochester in 2003 and married Becky, whom I met in college. She is the greatest! We have the greatest, most cutest dog in the universe, named Spike. She is a Toy Poodle and the apple of our eyes. I am now an assistant kitchen manager/cook at a very popular resturant in Rochester while still working as a musician: I am performing with CHASING GIANTS, a very talented coverband. I was playing with NIK AND THE NICE GUYS, a very popular party band and used to sing with STRANGER-"An Evening of Foreigner". They were a great band that performs a whole evening of FOREIGNER and LOU GRAMM songs. I'm also trying to get up a gig as a singer for wedding ceremonies as well I just recently hooked up with this great dj company to do parties and such. (VERY BUSY!!! ;) )
I am very happy being married to a wonderful person and enjoying my career. I love being close to my family now!!Say HI if you want!!
PS- 8/31/06 Becky and I got a new dog to add to our family. His name is Peppy and he is a toy poodle too. He and Spike are getting to know each other and we are so happy to have him in our family!! PSS--9/28/07--my son, Justin was brought into the world! he is so wonderful and we are blessed to have him in our lives. what a great chapter in my life this is turning out to be.
Who I'd like to meet: the dali lama, president clinton, barak obama, james brown, tom hanks, kurt vonnegut, and many more notable people i can't fit here. AND just regular people who have the courage to follow their dreams and strive to accomplish them!

Rest in Peace, Peter. You were a gentle, beautiful person in life, and I cannot believe you are gone. You will be deeply missed by all who have experienced your warmth, charm, and joie de vivre.
My deepest condolences to beautiful wife Becky, sweet, adorable baby Justin, my close friend and musical colleague, father Ben, Lou, Richard, (uncles) Paula (mom), and the whole Grammatico family. God bless you and give you strength.
Peter, although I am sad you are gone, I am so happy to have known you. Although you left much too soon, you really did have a wonderful life, and you finished on a real good foot, too. You made a good home for yourself, and got to know the joys of being a husband to Becky and a daddy to Justin. You've earned yourself a great education, became an accomplished cook, and got to front several excellent bands. You also got to share the stage with your uncle Louie, and play drumming gigs your own drummer Dad got to see (he was so proud of you :) he told me so himself!). Peter, you were just a totally upbeat guy, and you never forgot what it was like to be happy like a little kid. God bless you, and may God watch over your family with you. You'll be badly missed here Peter, but I know you're in the best of places now! ROCK ON 4EVER!!!
Peter, You and I only encountered each other briefly through a friend, but you showed utter kindness and thoughtfulness to me. My heart is sad knowing you are gone because so many people loved you and will miss you.
My dear cousin, my heart is breaking as I just found out that you have left us for our family band in the hereafter. I am sure you are with your grandparents now and they will look out for you there. Seems like just yesterday when I used to babysit for you. Will miss you more than words can say, and you will live on in my heart and memories forever.
Gonna miss you my friend!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad we talked recently, oddly enough about your dad's health, and I'm also glad you sat in a few tunes with us at the Ale House back a couple of months ago!! We will jam again, my friend!!!!!! Keep the drum seat warm for me up in Heaven - (not that I'm in a big hurry to get there any time soon -ha ha ha).
Peter... what a bummer to learn of your passing. You had a great voice and I enjoyed hearing you sing, especially in Stranger. Godspeed, my friend. I'll see you on the other side... someday.
