Mikans inception began in a little apartment in Yugawara, Japan. Its founding member, Matt Baker, originally from the UK, has been an avid writer of ambient music for many years. His experiences of Japan imprinted themselves on his music. He succeeds with a fine sensitivity to capture the subtle moods that Japan has left on his memories.

I heard the sad news,i wish a nice journey...
I had nice times with Peter,much inspiration and many lessons in music & life..

Today I heard the sad news from Bahauddin Dagar of Peters' passing. I want to thank Peter for the amazing music he has given us.....

Dear friend, beloved Peter - as you now have left the body I want to thank you for all that you have given me. Bless your heart! May you be reborn in the Tushitaheaven.
