About me:

**Halifax, Nova Scotia based drummer** I've studied drumming with notable drum/ percussion teachers in Toronto and Vancouver, most notably under the infamous Jim Blackley books/ systems/ techniques. Played out of Toronto, Ontario from 1985-95 (with too many acts and artists to list). Returned to Halifax in 1995 to further drum education and completed a 4-year degree in University (1996-2000) before accepting a 2 year full-time drumming position. My playing experiences include festivals up to approximately 20,000 people along with a wide variety of shows across Canada from Newfoundland to Victoria, B.C. and the US. A couple hundred clubs under my touring belt as well as having played East Coast Music Award showcases; recording artist showcases; several festivals throughout the East Coast and other Canadian provinces (Alberta's Big Valley Jamborree; Grand Falls Salmon Fest; Festival by the Sea, and others). Also ASN's Breakfast Television several times with several acts; Canada AM (Good Morning Canada) national morning show performances (and house band); a Much Music rotated video and more. I've been fortunate to have played with many Canadian artists and bands.
