About me:

**Halifax, Nova Scotia based drummer** I've studied drumming with notable drum/ percussion teachers in Toronto and Vancouver, most notably under the infamous Jim Blackley books/ systems/ techniques. Played out of Toronto, Ontario from 1985-95 (with too many acts and artists to list). Returned to Halifax in 1995 to further drum education and completed a 4-year degree in University (1996-2000) before accepting a 2 year full-time drumming position. My playing experiences include festivals up to approximately 20,000 people along with a wide variety of shows across Canada from Newfoundland to Victoria, B.C. and the US. A couple hundred clubs under my touring belt as well as having played East Coast Music Award showcases; recording artist showcases; several festivals throughout the East Coast and other Canadian provinces (Alberta's Big Valley Jamborree; Grand Falls Salmon Fest; Festival by the Sea, and others). Also ASN's Breakfast Television several times with several acts; Canada AM (Good Morning Canada) national morning show performances (and house band); a Much Music rotated video and more. I've been fortunate to have played with many Canadian artists and bands. This list includes having performed with individual artists, groups and members of bands, all of which include, among others: the Payolas (Chris Livingston); Just Alice (Dave Fisher); Barnacle (band 2 years); Diamond Zye (band 3 years); Natalie MacMaster (Brad Davidge); Blueberry Grunt (band); Nashville's Steve Fox; Clayton Bellamy (Road Hammers); Kevin Ryan (artist showcase); recording artist Wayne Smart; Julian Austin; George Canyon (Joe Butcher); Full Circle (band - 2 years); Knucklebones (band - Much Music, etc); Jonathan Mullane (band, Universal Records); Stillwater Project (up-and-coming band featuring Wayne Smart), and many, many more.
