"Hobbledehoy" on the CBC, in December of 1982. That doesn't count though, does it? Never mind.
Films
My father would film me & my brother with an 8 mm camera when we were kids. That doesn’t count though, does it? Never mind.
Acually, I did collaborate and appear in a short film entitled Missing Since.
I’m actually in a couple of music videos that you can find on YouTube. You can also find them on the lower right-hand side of this page. Scroll down. One is for "Superwoman in The Making" by Amanda Mabro .

I have been performing stand-up comedy since April of 2004.
I was recently voted Best Stand-Up Comedian in the annual
Best Of Montreal reader's poll in the Montreal Mirror, the city's definitive alternative arts and entertainment news weekly.
You can read an interview with me in that issue here. (you have to scroll down to the bottom of the page).
I am the regular host of Drop The Gloves Tuesdays, Montreal's PREMIER open-mic. It takes place at Grumpy's Bar every Tuesday Night. This show is in fact, Montreal's only TRUE open-mic, open to poetry, spoken-word, comedy, music, and God-only-knows who or what else might show up.
My comedy style has been described as conversational, honest, alternative, intelligent, and fearless. And funny. Actually, it's been described as damn hilarious.
I am NOT hip. I am not MTV, I am not ghetto, I'm not "with it." In fact, I'm so un-hip that I'm...actually, I am hip, but only in a grandparents kind of way.
This does not mean, however, that your grandparents would think I was the cat's pajamas. Your great-grandparents, however, would think I was the cat's meow.
I am a founding partner of the Comedy OFF The Main series, Montreal's first (and only!) weekly alternative comedy lounge.
I auditioned for the Just For Laughs Festival in February of 2006, and again in January of 2007. I will be performing in the festival in July of this year (2007).
I'm a second-generation stand-up (sort-of): My father used to tell jokes at open-mics in East Germany to get free beer.
I'm fluent in three languages: Deutsch, English & Francais. I didn't speak English or French until I was 5. I studied Russian, but I forgot most of it. I'm not sure why I mentioned that last part. It's not really anything to brag about, is it?
I may very well be the only Canadian on MySpace that HAS NOT added David Suzuki to his list of friends, even though I agree with most of what he says.
My brother is Montreal's 2nd best cartoonist, at least, according to the readers of the Montreal Mirror. You can see his work here.
I like using the following words: ambivalent, exasperated, forthcoming, nomenclature, stratification and verisimilitude. I also say "Frig Wrigley" quite a bit (more to follow...)
I hate when people say "anyways" in lieu of "anyway", and people who use "a" when they should use "an". I also cringe when I hear people using "the" (pronounced "thuh") in lieu of "the" (pronounced "thee").
Yo! Good seein' you too. We need to drink in more basement bars. I need to practice here first. I didn't realize how much alcohol you kids up North are legally allowed in one beer. Nobody told me 'till it was way too late.
Hey Pete ! I must appogize for my disconnection from the world...I keep hearing great things about your work...but when I heard them announce your name on Chom I knew I was douch-bag...hope to see you soon !cheers pal ! papajoe
I'll be playign at the Comedy Nest there. Thanks for the heads up on the name mix up. I'd previously been in contact with them a few times about the confusion. Since then, they've corrected everything. Do remember where you said they'll have me playing on that Wednesday night that I get in?
hey peter, me and mo tried to hustle our way into your gig the other night, they weren't buying what we were selling though.. we somehow got there at the time you were on stage and we could see you through the door sorta. congrats and continued success cheers
Hello Peter! Thanks for accepting my add friend request. I resisted Myspace for as long as possible, but it became impractical. Thanks again for the gigs in March. I'll be back in Montreal within the next six months for sure. Nice page!
WOW! I remember the days when you opened for me at the Lac Lemay Casino and now who's on top, awesome. I am so happy, you can't imagine. Show biz, ain't it great. We chat soon, oui?
I just got the email. I didnt even vote because I couldnt figure out how. Otherwise I would have voted myself out because I'm so not cool enough to be number three. I'm out of town so save me a copy! ?
It looks like many a Montrealer has decided to "jump into the fire" this year. Congratulations on your nod as best comic in this year's Montreal Mirror Best of Montreal poll. I am very proud of you!
