.... .. .. .. .. .. ................ .. ..Buy the album 'No Such Thing As Time' on Itunes or check your digital store of choice. .. "Hiding behind the crisp, well-defined voice there seems to be something I can't quite place my finger on. The song is indeed charming and undeniably infectious, but there's an underlying current of gloom and just a sprinkle of shattered hope that adds a bite that's more than just appropriate, it's stellar. This just goes to prove that not all in the pop canon have to be made from cotton candy; sometimes a little bit of arsenic goes a long way." (Review of 'Same Here', Dec 2005). .. .. Peter Kearns is a producer/arranger/songwriter from New Zealand who in addition to working as sideman to New Zealand acts such as Shona Laing, has in recent years contributed production or co-production duties to acts such as Norway's 'Gazpacho' and the solo work of Klaatu member 'Dee Long' from Canada. He has also spent time working with artists in the Los Angeles area. His 2007 album 'No Such Thing As Time' is largely a solo affair with contributions from King Crimson's Tony Levin. Peter's song 'Wise Up' co-written with british singer-songwriter Judie Tzuke, appears on Judie's 2008 release 'Songs 2'. The Peter Kearns EP 'Indian Summer' was released in November 2009... Hey Peter, thanks for listening, and wow, that was a keen observation....Besides my Beatles influence, I have huge Genesis influences, that I did put out in this song...I let the inner Gabriel come out in the end "all roads lead to America"...I love dramatics in songs, as you can tell...and I am glad I could use this song as a vehicle....thanks again for listening! Richard
Thanks 4 adding us !
Greetings from Phranc-O-forte.
