Sounds a lot like Peter Langston, who obviously is "informed by" the influence of all his influences...
I was raised in Greenwich Village during the beat era, attended college in Portland, Oregon during the Hippie era and loved both of them. Bounced from coast to coast following work (of all descriptions) in the lucrative techno-wizard biz and playing in bands (of all descriptions). Retired to Seattle in 1991 to play music and spend my savings. Am also running some music camps at the moment...
+ If you like this music you might also like the music of this (now defunct) band...Not The Jangles.

Here’s a little tune from 1936 that the Jitterbug Vipers play for dancers every week at Lamberts in Austin. You might recognize the bass player. <><><><> JITTERBUG VIPERS MUSIC VIDEO .. <><><><> <> ENJOY! <> Slim

Hi Peter, Thanks for the add. I do not know if we've actually ever met, although I know Steve used to talk about you. He was fond of you, loved PSGW and all the folks there. I enjoyed my one summer there (two summers ago) and perhaps I'll head out that way again some day. Best wishes for wonderful holidays. Arlene
