After several stints fronting the Boston bands the Down Staircase and Limbo Souls, Peter Lavender returns with his follow up CD Never Now. Unapologetically 70's rock, Never Now departs from the folk rock sounds of his debut CD Back to Normal in favor of Badfinger harmonies and biting, introspective lyrics. This is an album meant to be listened to from beginning to end.

Okay...so far cuts 6 & 9 are my favorites...Just spent a week on the beach in P.E.I. Canada listening to the album (do they still call them albums) It is really solid & complete... More to come in my review. I hope you have more songs in you! I started two - maybe three songs while I was away...will keep you posted on my progress.
Great to meet you last night...I really enjoyed going out and the band you picked...Margo Timmins, FYI lead singer of Cowboy Junkies...Loving your CD...I have only listened to it twice in full so not yet ready to comment...however, I need to ask, did I detect the sound of church bells on track 8 or 9( sorry not sure which one)...Oh, and I thought of a great name for your Partridge Family cover band...Jonesing For Shirley
Well, it looks like I will be able to make it down to Ursula's this weekend...so that means I get to meet you tomorrow. I am really looking forward to it! I do think we should check out that band you suggested. Could be fun!
