Following the motto of one of my compositions "Birds Have To Fly", I embarked 1984 on a long musical journey that took me from my native town Amsterdam to Berlin, Munich, Budapest, Athens, Linz, Passau finally to Paris where I live since 2007. Always accompanied by my tenorsaxophone, living the chances that life and music offers. .. Some of the many groups and musicians I have been working with in the last few years: .. What I would like to achieve through music is best described by Irving Stone in his book -Lust For Life- where he talks about the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh; ".....he wished to express not sentimental melancholy but serious sorrow and joy. Lately I have been dividing my time mainly between two, to me, very precious musical projects: .. .. PETER MASSINK 3; features the great dutch bassist Philip Baumgarten and the young talented drummer Mathias van Olst. Our new CD "Full Moon"contains all new compositions that display my lyrical side both as a composer and saxophonist. It got some great reviews in Holland which you can read on this site. .. .. TRUC DE KEZZEK; concerns my more avant-garde side as a composer and player. It features Barney Girlinger (trumpet), Ali Angerer (tuba) and Ewald Zach (drums). BIOGRAPHIE:

Following the motto of one of my compositions "Birds Have To Fly", I embarked 1984 on a long musical journey that took me from my native town Amsterdam to Berlin, Munich, Budapest, Athens, Linz, Passau finally to Paris where I live since 2007.
