Past - Solo artist Peter Parker recorded his breakthrough single 'She's So Shy'.
The single has been on since the 24th of March 2008 (Peter's Birthday!) and was produced and arranged by musical director Gwyn Ashton, who contributes the backing vocals and plays lead guitar on it.
The music video to the song was filmed by Paul King, Director of 4 Thought Productions, at the Marshall Amplification sound stage and on location in London.
The Plot: Boy who works in boutique off Carnaby Street, chases girl through Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and around Tower Bridge. Every time he gets close to her she disappears.
The Twist: Peter Parker plays the boy and also plays the girl. The girl is always filmed from behind, the viewer only discovering in the last scene, when 'she' takes a bow, that she is in fact himself.
This film was conceived by Peter Parker who first thought of hiring an actress, but decided to follow in the footsteps of Dustin Hoffman and play the girl!

The Plot: Penny, the scientist, is conducting an experiment to improve Peter's luck with women. In Carnaby Street, Peter asks as many girls to go out with him, as he can in a day. Penny takes him through Plan A – Chat-Up Lines, Plan B – Wooing Girls, Plan C – The Secrets of Attracting Women and Finally Plan Z! – Becoming An Alpha Male. But Peter receives nothing, but slaps round the face, beatings and downright rejection.
The Twist: Finally, outside the wonderful boutique, "Victim", in Marshall Street, Peter is floored by an unexpected handbag to the head and shove for good measure. Then Kake - the American Supermodel, who is seen through-out the video, modelling a Showpiece dress designed by Mei Hui, notices all the commotion and appears on the scene. She takes pity on Peter, helping him to his feet, kisses him on the cheek and they go walking off down the street together, hand in hand. Aww!
This film too, was conceived by Peter Parker, when Kake told him he could have a real girl to star in his next video!
Future - The third single, 'When I'm With You', will be a duet with Peter Parker and Kake and will be produced by Peter A Barker, at his studio in LA, in July 2008.
