"Peter Ricchio plays guitar with no shoes on. Ricchio’s long, disheveled hair hangs over his face as he paces around the microphone slamming his pick against his strings. That says a lot about what he and his band, Peter Puffington and the Rocketship Explosion, is all about.
Jeffrey Chasey, the band’s drummer. He plays full-force from the beginning of each song to the end. Even when the other two musicians quiet down for a mellow part, Chasey seems to be trying to bash his drums into heaping piles of timber.
Mike Koppenhaver, the band’s bassist, keeps his parts simple.
Peter Puffington and the Rocketship Explosion is unpolished, loud, genuine and unabashedly passé. They’re just what today’s rock culture needs."
