Well, have a listen. "The songs' themes are about change, but the music is about what has made people happy for decades." Mark Bialczak, The Post-Standard, Syracuse.
"Folk music with an edge! This duo has captured a rare contemporary sound for this time and made it their own." Oasis Productions
Jon Peterson and Donna Dennihy spent several years as kitchen musicians sharing songs, both contemporary and traditional, in kitchens around New York while eating pie made with real butter and drinking excellent coffee and occasionally some beer. They branched out to good wine with some of Jon’s original songs blending pleasant and powerful harmonies, delivering songs with themes and characters and heart. Then they began writing songs together and liking the results. Peterson and Dennihy have played out in central New York for the past ten years. They have a loyal and diverse fan base. They still cover great alternative folk songs and showcase their original work too. Their CD, A Little Change, can be sampled and purchased at CD Baby, www.cdbaby.com/cd/pnd. A new CD "Getting Warmer" is in the works and will be available soon. Thanks for listening!
Thanks Jon. I had a great time! Also, I place my past gigs on my MySpace page, and I have written in down as "Jon Peterson's Songwriters Night" so people who check out my page will be able to see it for a long time to come. Look forward to sharing songs with you and Donna in the future!
